10 Year Increase in Home Values
Let's talk about how we can make Lafayette your new home.
Paddle around Waneka Lake in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains before heading downtown for a bite and a beer at one of Lafayette’s local pubs. Wander the verdant trails in a naturally recognized “Tree City USA.” Explore Colorado’s rich culture at one of the city’s many recurring festivals, like the Peach Festival and the Quaker Oatmeal Festival. (Come to think of it, those would go deliciously together...).
Miles of Trails
Lafayette may have begun as a mining town, but not much of that grit remains. The city has grown purposefully and today it boasts an easy walkability and a vibe all its own. If you want a quaint historic home, you’ll find it here. If you’re looking for something much more modern, you’ll find it in Lafayette too. As for the pioneers who made it home, the life you want is waiting here.

The Lafayette Recreation Department has been recognized nationally for excellence. Put plainly, Lafayette takes fun seriously.
A broad array of employers across virtually every industry make Lafayette a wonderland of possibility. Exempla/Kaiser and GE Dharmacon lead the way in healthcare and medical research, and companies like Rocky Mountain Instruments push the edges of technology. Countless startups are moving the needle, too, and there’s plenty of room for you to do the same.

Lafayette is one of the few places that can claim to have it all—and back it up. At just 21 miles from Denver and 11 miles from Boulder, the city has both a small town feel and big city amenities. The Denver International Airport is only a few miles further, putting most of America just a short flight away. Rolling plains to the east, the Rocky Mountains to the west, and you smack dab in the middle.

There’s so much to do here I don’t ever want to leave, but when I want to get to Denver, it’s an easy drive. I can’t imagine being anywhere else.
I moved a few years ago and I’ve never looked back. There’s always something to do, so I never feel bored.
Lafayette isn’t the first place you’d think of for an active outdoor lifestyle, but it’s surprisingly easy to get out and around—from the lake to the trails and parks.
Lafayette has a wide variety of neighborhoods to accommodate an eclectic mix of people, from suburbanite to Old Town hipster. Located in a prime location just east of Boulder and a short drive to Denver, Lafayette sits in an area filled with some of the best restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, and authentic taquerias. Bike trails and walking paths are abundant and connect to the Old Town neighborhood of Louisville. A small town vibe with contemporary tastes, Lafayette is a perfect option for those looking for a cool scene with a little bit of elbow room.
